Colony Brook Homeowners Association Meeting Minutes
Saturday January 15th, 2022
Call to order at 11:31 am
1. Monika Scotti President of Colony Brook Homeowners Association call the meeting to order at 11:31am quorum was present.
2. Roll Call: Those that were in attendance was Monika Scotti, Jack Scotti, and Penny Frank (via phone), Christopher Burning Architectural Chair.
3. Homeowner Guest –
4. Architectural Committee – Chair was present
5. Architectural Report- stated that the Committee didn’t have a meeting in December since there were no reports submitted. Rebecca Marley requested a Homeowners Form from the Committee. Getting some of the glitches out from the Colony Brook Website, website address will be colonycourtnw.com
Website cost would be 1 year $168.00 2 year $276.00 and 3 year $360.00, the Board and Architectural Chair agreed that we would do 1 year to see how many look at the website.
Discussed the steps for those who are not incompliance with the covenants.
1st a verbal warning from the Architectural Committee Chair
2nd a letter from the Board of Directors
3rd a letter from the Colony Brook HOA Lawyer.
6. Approval of minutes- for Saturday December 11th, 2021, were approved as written.
7. Treasurers Report- In Savings Account $10,772.51, in Operating Account $5610.55
Total $16,383.06
8. Homeowner’s Comments – no comments
9. Open Issues/ Old Business:
a) Mailboxes –Christopher Burning informed us that his dad is unable to do the job, however he may have a lead for someone to do the job. Will get back to us once he is done helping Christopher with his kitchen.
10. New Business: Dumpster
It was agreed that we have the dumpster from April 29th to May 6th (President will reserve this) and then again possibly from September 30th to October 7th. The dumpster will be placed along the gravel going to the RV in front of the shed.
Secretary of State will be paid by February 28th, 2022, cost is $10.00.
11. Open Discussion- snow removal was done for our neighborhood by Kevin O’Neil twice, discussed that we might consider a contract with him.
Reminder that we need to slow down as we are coming into our neighborhood from Fairgrounds Road.
If you think your sidewalk area needs repair please contact the County, our sidewalks belong to the county, and they will repair if they feel that your maple tree is not the cause of the damage.
8. Next Meeting: February @ 1:00 at 7625 Scotti’s home.
