Colony Brook Homeowners Association Meeting Minutes
Friday May 7th, 2021
1.Call to order at 5:00 PM
Monika Scotti President of Colony Brook Homeowners Association call the meeting to order at 5:00 PM quorum was present.
2. Roll Call: Those that were in attendance was Monika Scotti, Jack Scotti, and Penny Frank.
Homeowner Guest – Doug Stauner and Robert Ramirez.
3. Approval of minutes for Saturday February 6th, 2021 were approved as written.
4. Treasurers Report- In Savings Account $10921.06, in Operating Account $7525.82
Total $18446.88
Had 2 homeowners that were $5.00 behind in dues.
5. Open Issues/ Old Business:
a) An email was sent to the Architectural Committee to have a meeting on February 16th at 6:00pm, no one from the Committee showed up. Talk was to possibly remove the Architectural Committee.
b) Renewed the contract with Green Creation Landscaping with some stipulations, they kept the price from last year to $135.00 each visit.
c) Secretary of State was renewed.
d) There was a discussion on making more parking spots around the Commons Area taking some of the grassy area away, so that more homeowners and their guest could utilize it. It was mentioned that our roads were private and turned over to the County, and that this information was with a past President. It was asked of that person to turnover that info so we could do more investigation.
e) President as asked for a Plat Map of our area.
6. New Business:
a) Dumpster will be here on May 28th until June 3rd, it will be placed alongside on the gravel area road towards the RV Area. Homeowner was approached for approval, homeowner agreed.
b) Taxes were completed and all are good.
c) Homeowners were informed that fireworks on July 4th will only be allowed to be discharged by the mailboxes.
d) Discussion on our current Covenants- per our Attorney all restrictions have been lifted by the Governor, which means that the Board of Directors have all the right to enforce our Covenants. Homeowners can be held accountable for their actions pertaining to our Covenants policy. With heated discussion meeting was adjourned by the President
